Lists of map libraries with online access
/As something to look at while we’re all in lockdown, here’s some lists of online map collections. I just learned, via H-MAPS, of an ongoing list of map libraries, by Atelier Ideas & Research. Some of these are among my favorites, and many are new to me. The size and emphasis of each repository is briefly described.

List no. 2: US National Archives, various Catalan sites, Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, World Digital Library, New York Public Library, Boston Public Library
List no. 3: Polish sites, Biblioteca nacional Portugal, Library and Archives Canada, Riyal Belgian Library (Librarie Albert Ier), UC Berkeley, Harvard Map Collection
List no. 4: University of Minnesota, Jagiellonian Library (Wroclaw), National Library of Scotland, American Geographical Society Library (UW-Milwaukee), Princeton University, Mapová Sbírka Přf Uk (Czech republic), Brigham Young University

With respect to the British Library, Tom Harper recently made a couple of lists about where to find its maps online: within BL and beyond BL.
And, of course, reference should always be made to Tony Campbell’s map history gateway.
